We understand that going to the dentist is not right at the top of your list of favorite places to go (it’s a close second, we’re sure…). That is why we have created an environment that will help you sit back and relax while we take care of you. Have a busy day ahead of you after your appointment? Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea. Don’t like the sound of our instruments? Use our noise-blocking headphones to watch TV or listen to music while we work. Individualized approach
Just like no two people have the same set of fingerprints, no two people have the same set of teeth. Our team takes the time the get to know each patient, which is why we make sure to schedule enough time for an appointment so that we never rush through an exam or treatment. Maybe you prefer a neck pillow while you are in the exam chair, maybe you prefer the watermelon-flavored toothpaste, or maybe you look forward to getting our unique lip balm at the end of your appointment (which, by the way, our patients rave about!) – whatever it may be, your care is tailored to you.
If treatment is recommended for you, we take the time to educate you on all of your options and collaborate with you to choose the treatment that best fits your time, budget, and goals.
Modern technology & techniques
Robots haven’t replaced us quite yet. Until they do, we have invested in modern technology to provide you with the most conservative treatment in the safest way possible. We offer digital radiographs that decrease your radiation exposure up to 90%. We utilize high quality lasers that help detect cavities in their early stages, where they can be treated in the most minimally invasive manner or even reversed! We may even be able to remove your cavity while keeping you comfortable using our air abrasion technique, an alternative to the dental drill. If we do need to use a drill for your treatment, we only use electric drills which are more efficient and quieter. To learn more about our technology, click here.

We understand that you’ve taken time out of your busy schedule to visit us, and we do our very best to keep you on schedule. From school and extracurricular activities to work meetings, we offer early morning and late evening hours for your convenience.

Our practice has been actively involved in the community of McHenry and its surrounding areas for over 30 years (and still counting!).
