At Family Roots Dentistry, we all truly love what we do. As much fun as we have with our patients while we take care of them, we do know that going to the dentist may not exactly be everyone’s idea of fun. In fact, studies have found that 9 – 15% of Americans avoid seeing the dentist because of anxiety and fear – that’s about 30 – 40 million people.

For those reasons, we provide an array of comfort amenities to make your visit as easy, enjoyable and stress-free as possible. See below for a list of the amenities available to help you relax:

  • Ceiling-mounted fully adjustable LED TVs - no more craning your neck to see the screen when you’re laying back!

  • Anesthetic warmer - warms the anesthetic to near body temperature to allow for a more comfortable delivery of anesthetic

  • Pharmaceutical high-strength topical anesthetic - placed on the gums prior to administering the anesthetic for increased comfort

  • Refreshing, warm, lavender towelettes to wipe your face at the end of your appointment

  • High-quality lip balm for during or after your appointment (Patients love the fun seasonal flavors!)

  • Warm, cozy blankets

  • Memory foam neck and lumbar support pillows
